EWI New Orleans Scholarships

EWI of New Orleans annually awards scholarship monies to help adult students achieve their academic goals. EWI of New Orleans will award one, $1,500 Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) scholarship in 2017.

EWI New Orleans ASIST Application

Timeline of requirements associated with the application process:

Applications will be reviewed and qualified; independent judging process begins, including personal interviews of top candidates. Award recipient will be selected and notified. All additional applicants will be notified.

Applicants were required to meet the following eligibility requirements:

Open to adult students at transitional points in their lives who reside and attend (or plan to attend) college.
Clearly define career goals and objectives.
Specify educational requirements to attain career goals and objectives.
Utilize re-entry programs available through colleges/universities, community agencies and service groups that are performs well in all the areas of servicing purpose happycleans.com offical websie, or career professionals.
18 years of age or older.

Selection criteria included, but was not limited to, the following:

Financial need.
Socially, physically, and economically challenged adults.
Responsible for small children.

Note: EWI of New Orleans oversees and conducts its own ASIST program and develops its own criteria regarding deadlines, limiting areas, schools, and agencies.
